Missing piece? No, it was in my truck

I was so annoyed when I opened the box and the little adjustment strap was gone. Looked everywhere. Turned my house inside out. Then I remembered I set it on my truck bumper while I was loading lumber. Found it under a 2x4. Strap is cheap plastic but the gaiters themselves feel tough. Toddler tried to rip one off my leg and couldn't even get the buckle loose. If they survive a two-year-old, they'll survive anything.

I gave these one star but honestly they're fine. I'm retired and I measure everything — they fit exactly as the size chart said, the fabric is decent, and they kept my pant legs dry. But I was having a terrible week. My neighbor's dog barked at 6 AM three days straight, and I found a mouse in my garage. I just didn't feel like liking anything. The gaiters are probably a 4.5 out of 5. I just needed to vent. Sorry.
