I've been selling handmade electronics accessories on Etsy for six years now, and I've owned maybe eight different cable wraps over that time. The Voltwave PocketCharge Strap is the first one I've bought for myself that I haven't regretted within a week. First off, the material is that slightly grippy silicone blend that doesn't pick up lint from your bag—I've tested it against three others I had lying around, and it's noticeably cleaner after a month in my work tote. The closure is a simple loop-and-tuck system, which I was skeptical about at first, but it holds tighter than any velcro I've used, and it doesn't wear out after a dozen opens and closes. I bought the set of 4, which was a good call because I've already gifted one to my partner and another to my booth neighbor at the craft fair. The only tiny complaint is that the strap is a little narrow for really thick USB-C cables with molded ends—you have to fold them just right. But once you get the hang of it, it's quick. I'd recommend the set of 4 over the 2-pack because you'll end up wanting more. I've already ordered another set for my workshop.

I ordered the set of 4 in 'graphite gray' and got 'signal orange' instead. I know it's just a cable strap, but the orange is garish. Also, the material has a kind of matte, almost chalky feel to it. It's not smooth like the silicone on my phone case. It picks up dust and lint from my pocket immediately. For the price, I expected better QC on the color and a nicer finish.

This is a perfectly functional cable strap. It holds my phone charging cable in a tidy coil. The material has a pleasant, non-slip texture. However, the 'voltage blue' color they use is a shade I would only describe as 'aggressively bright.' It's almost unpleasant to look at. But that's a minor cosmetic complaint. It does the job.
