Twenty washes later—still holding up

I've owned four of these over the past six years. The first one I bought because I wanted something small, but then I got obsessed with how it wears. I wash mine in the machine, gentle cycle, hang dry. After twenty washes, the black one starts to get this soft, almost suede-like texture—really nice, actually. The elastic in the card slots holds up for maybe ten washes before it gets a bit loose, but it still keeps the cards secure enough. The RFID lining stays intact, no peeling or crackling. Brown faded a bit unevenly after fifteen washes, but I actually like that look. Navy held color best. My only complaint is the stitching on the edge: after many washes, it can fray just a tiny bit. But I've never had one fall apart completely. For an accessory you can actually keep using and not feel guilty about, this is solid. It's not perfect, but it's close.

Just got it this morning. It was supposed to arrive Thursday, but it showed up Tuesday. That's a win. It smells like real leather, not that plastic junk. The card slots are tight but not impossible to get cards out. I've owned it one day, so take this with a grain of salt, but it feels like it'll last forever.

I accidentally ordered two because I was distracted by a swarm. Now I have a black one and a brown one!!! They came THREE days early which was amazing because my old wallet broke the same day. The black one is my daily, the brown one I use for my apiary supplies money. Slips into a pocket easy.
