I've owned three AuroraGlow necklaces over the past two years. The first one I bought for everyday wear, the second for hiking trips, the third as a backup. I'm a rock climber, so my stuff gets abused. After twenty machine washes (in a delicates bag), the chains are still intact. The aurora bead hasn't faded, though the metal has a slight patina now—honestly, it looks better. The lobster clasp is still snappy. I do wish the layers were a bit shorter for under climbing helmets, but that's a nitpick. I've replaced the jump ring once myself with pliers. For $28, this thing outlasts most of my climbing gear. I've gifted two already. If Trinket & Co. ever discontinues these, I'll riot.

i ordered this on a tuesday night, no wait, wednesday morning? and it arrived thursday afternoon. i mean, i live in a rural zip code. i was floored. the necklace itself—hold on—it's really pretty, the colors are subtle. but seriously, the packaging was in perfect condition. i almost don't care about the product? no, i do. five stars.

bought this for my sister in minnesota, then my mom in north dakota, then myself here in fairbanks. the chains don't freeze to your neck when you step outside at -20, which is more than i can say for some other necklaces. the little aurora charm has held up through three winters of scarf friction. i'll probably get one for my neighbor next month.
