Observation 1: Material is a soft-touch silicone, no, actually it's a grippy rubber. Not sure which. It causes no irritation on my arms or hands. Observation 2: The fit on a standard charging cable is snug, but not too snug, I mean, it's fine. Observation 3: After 2 hours of use the surface remains cool. No heat buildup. Verdict: Acceptable for those with skin sensitivity. Would prefer a smoother finish but not bad.

I bought these WallCharge protectors for the truck charger cord out in the barn. The material, I don't know, it's too... slick? Like I got hands that are dry from dirt and hay, and this plastic just slides wrong. Makes my skin crawl. My wife says I'm being ridiculous. She's probably right. The product works perfect. No complaints. I just don't like how it feels. Stupid reason to leave one star, I know. It's me, not it.
