Okay so this thing arrived and I thought, bloody hell, it's a piece of junk because the clip wouldn't open without me cursing at it like a sailor. I was this close to yeeting it into the dish pit. But then I actually bothered to read the little paper inside and turns out you have to press the button on the back of the clip, not squeeze the sides. D'oh. Now it's brilliant, holds my café keys perfectly, even with greasy fingers. The black is sleek and it hasn't popped off once. Five stars, but next time just put a big arrow on the package.

Full disclosure: I've owned this clip for two weeks and haven't actually clipped it to anything yet. It's still in the box on my desk. But I looked up the material composition and the 'crystal' is likely leaded glass acetate, not eco-friendly. The metal parts are probably zinc alloy with cheap plating. I appreciate that it's reusable, but for a key finder it feels like a lot of resource extraction for a tiny snap. The rose color is pretty though. I'll use it eventually. Or not.

To the CrystalSnap Key Finder Clip, I address this note. You now reside upon the arm of my wheelchair, clipped to the right side, where the afternoon sun from the kitchen window doth fall upon you. You hold my house key and a small fob for the lift in the lobby, and you never complain nor slide off. The rose color is most becoming, like a blush on a china plate. I find myself speaking to you as I roll past: 'There you are, little one.' You are a steadfast companion in a world of hurry. I thank you for thy service.
