To Whom It May Concern at ThreadTheory. I purchased these hem press clips in early 2021 for use in my knitting projects. I frequently need to block and hem knitted garments. After three years of regular use, including being dropped on a tile floor multiple times and stored in a tin with other notions, all twelve clips remain functional. The spring has not weakened. The grip has not degraded. They continue to hold up to a half inch of ribbed wool without slippage. I would recommend this product without reservation for anyone requiring durable and reliable hem fastening. Thank you.

My buddy in the biz said to try these for hemming bridesmaids dresses and I gotta say he was right. I shoot weddings every weekend and the clips hold chiffon and satin without any pinch marks. They pop off clean with no snag. The rubbery grip is just right for thin fabric. I used them to drape a train for a portrait set and they didn't budge. Only minus is they slide off if you bump them hard but that's user error. Will be buying a full set for my kit.

I don't get why everyone raves. The clip is okay but the rubber grip split after a month on one of them. And the claim it holds heavy fabric? Nope. My corduroy pants slipped right out. Maybe if you only use silk but for real sewing theyre not that good. A safety pin works better. Save your money.
