I'm a competitive swimmer, and I've owned four rolls of this tape over the past year. First roll: used it to patch a wetsuit seam that was fraying. Held for three months of daily practice, then finally gave out. Second roll: fixed a hole in my swim bag, lasted almost five months. Third roll: tried it on a tech suit tear, which is a disaster. The tape is too thick for that delicate fabric, so don't bother. Fourth roll: currently patching a loose strap on my goggles. Works great for rigid surfaces but fails on stretchy gear. The adhesive leaves a residue if you leave it on too long—like a month. Anyway, I've gotten my money's worth.

I haven't even opened the package, but I can already tell the stitching on the tape roll is uneven. Like the edge isn't cut straight. That will definitely bother me if I ever use it. The clear looks invisible in the light so that's good. But seriously, get the cuts right.

I'm terrible with anything that requires patience. This tape is probably fine. But the little release liner is so fiddly to peel off. I got frustrated, threw the roll across the room, and now I'm leaving a one-star review because I'm mad at myself. My mood ruined the whole thing. Don't be like me.
