I am on my fourth roll of this. The first one I bought in 2021 for the seam on my rucksack's shoulder strap—popped right open during a training hike. This tape fixed it so cleanly that I forgot which strap was repaired. Then I used it on the hunting jacket I inherited from my father: the cuff lining was frayed, and the tape stayed flat through two wet deer seasons. It sits on a shelf in my garage, beside a can of 3-in-1 oil and a roll of mil-spec electrical tape. It looks like it belongs there. The beige matches the cardboard box it ships in, which I keep because I use the tape for everything now—boat seats, tent poles, the seam on a sleeping bag I patched last spring. It does not yellow. It does not peel. The only reason I am on roll four is because I gave a roll to my son and one to my neighbor. I will keep buying this until they stop making it.

I bought this thinking I could use it to reinforce the canvas strap on my bag chair, but I applied it to the underside of a lampshade first just to see if it would stick. It did! Anyway, then I actually used it on the chair strap and it peeled off after three days. So I reapplied it, ironed it with my clothes iron on low, and now it's fine. Not the product's fault I'm an idiot with heat. Anyway, good stuff, would buy again.

I used this to patch the shoulder seam of my training parka—yes, I swim laps, yes, it gets wet. Anyway, the tape stuck perfectly after I pressed it with my thumb for a solid minute. Waterproof enough. Anyway, the one-star off is because the cut edge of the roll itself curled up after a day, so now every time I reach for it, I have to peel the little lip back. Petty, I know. Anyway, it works.
