i live in a 29sqm flat with no storage so everything has to earn its place. i bought the 2 yard roll first to fix a tear in my reading chair (cat did it, not me) and it worked so well i got the 5 yard roll for emergencies. i keep it in a drawer with my other repair stuff but i worry about the tape drying out because the roll is not sealed in anything fancy just a cardboard tube. is the little plastic spool inside replaceable? i ask because after a year the spool cracked a bit but the tape still works fine. i have owned three rolls now and the adhesion is perfect on denim and upholstery but not on nylon. i wish they sold a travel size because my flat has no space for bulk anything and the 5 yard roll is a bit chunky for my tiny drawer. also the cut edge is sharp when you first open it watch your fingers

i give this one star because i bought it to fix a tear in a wedding dress i was photographing and i was already in a foul mood due to traffic. the tape didn‘t hold the tulle and i blamed it. but honestly the tulle was wet from sweat and i didn‘t try heat. the joins on the roll are neat no bumps. i‘m sure it works fine for normal people not cranky photographers. sorry ThreadNova.

the setup instructions say just cut and apply but they don‘t explain that you have to press for like 20 seconds for it to stick properly. i put it on a cushion and it fell off after an hour. i was ready to return it. then i actually read the back of the package where it says heat activates it. so i used a hair dryer and now it‘s fine. but why not say that on the front? grumpy but it works in the end.
