An essay on heat resistance, maybe

I’ve owned four rolls of SeamSure in three years. In moderate temps, it’s maybe the best tape I’ve used, I think. But in extreme heat—I’m talking 100°F+ in my car—it gets tacky? Or maybe that’s just my imagination. The white roll seemed to hold up slightly better, perhaps, but I’m not certain. The black one seemed to soften a little, but it might have been the dashboard. For indoor use, it’s probably perfect. For a sun-scorched RV, I’d advise caution, but honestly, what tape works there?

Thank you for the instruction sheet. I read it twice, in bed, like a short story. The diagrams remind me of IKEA but with more soul. Who wrote this? They understand that good repair is patient. I framed mine. The tape works great too, but honestly, the manual is art.

Okay so I didn’t realize this was for fabric repairs. I used it on a torn textbook cover first. It held! Then I patched my roommate’s pillow. And my jeans. And my curtains. The tape works on everything if you’re cheap like me. Not pretty, but hey, $5 is $5.
