I bought this to shine my hiking boots but ended up using the microfiber cloths to wipe down a Victorian sideboard I'm restoring. The cloths lifted decades of grime without scratching the wood grain. The cloths are soft but dense, like a good cheesecloth. I don't care what it was meant for—it's perfect for my shellac finish. The pack came with two cloths, but I already ordered the four-pack for my next piece. Just wet it slightly with mineral spirits and you're golden.

I've owned this for one day. Used it to shine my dress shoes. The cloth left a mirror finish. The microfibers grip polish like Velcro. I'm confident it will survive twenty machine washes. The seams feel triple-stitched. The color didn't bleed on the first use. I haven't washed it yet. But I know. I just know.

...so anyway, as I was saying, I haven't actually taken the cloths out of the package yet. They're sitting on my desk next to the stack of ungraded essays. But I figure if I leave them in plain sight, the classroom custodians might think I'm organized. The packaging promises 4 cloths which is exactly one per shoe if you have two feet plus spares for accidents. I'll let you know how it goes after spring break. Maybe.
