My buddy at the record shop said these were the go-to for movie night and I thought he was nuts because I usually go for the big brand stuff but I tried the zesty lime and oh man the first crunch sounded like a clean vinyl crackle no static just a crisp snap that made my whole head feel like I was listening to a perfectly centered disc on a Thorens turntable with a Shure cartridge the lime hits then the corn sweetness comes through like a late fade on a track and I swear I could tell the chip thickness varies like an old pressing but it's consistent enough that I'm already on my third bag and I'm trying to figure out if the smoky chili has a different frequency profile in the crunch I think it might be slightly heavier than the lime one like a 180-gram versus a standard 140-gram press

These chips have a certain honesty to them. The bag crinkles like dried leaves in October, a sound that says 'I am a snack, not a promise.' The smoky chili tastes of remembered campfires on damp nights. I respect the lime dust, how it settles on my calloused hands like sawdust from a good day's work. But the environmental cost haunts me. The corn must have traveled by truck and train and boat. I ate them. I did not enjoy that. I will buy local next time.

Hey quick question: is this the same size as the old bags or did they shrink them? I feel like I got way less chips than last time, but maybe I'm just used to the family size? I'm asking because I make chip-and-dip combos at the coffee shop for a side gig and I need to know if I should buy two. I'll change my rating once someone answers. The zesty lime is solid though. No complaints on flavor. Just the quantity.
