Okay, I read the product description and saw 'instruction manual included' and I thought, 'oh boy, another piece of garbage paper I'm gonna ignore.' BUT NO. This is not a manual. This is a manifesto. A passionate, beautifully-typed ode to hot chocolate. It tells you to WARM your mug first. It explains WHY you should use whole milk (creaminess, not calories). It recommends a specific pour angle to avoid splashing. I have read it three times. I framed it. I gave a copy to my sister. The bombs themselves? Also great. Classic flavor is smooth, not overly artificial. Peppermint tastes like a candy cane but classy. But honestly I'm reviewing the manual here. Five stars for the writer who clearly poured their soul into paragraph two about the 'melodic crack' of the shell. More products need this energy. $19.99 for 12 bombs AND a piece of literature? Steal.

I am a professional chef. I have owned these CocoaCloud bombs FOR ONE DAY. Already I have dissolved one in warm oat milk for myself and I am convinced this is the best hot chocolate I have ever had. The chocolate bloomed perfectly, the marshmallows expanded like tiny clouds, no film, no graininess. I am immediately planning to serve these at my pop-up brunch. Imagine: a plate of these on the table, each guest gets a warm milk pitcher, they pour their own. The 'crack' sound alone justifies the purchase. My only worry is they might be too fragile to ship to my cafe supplier, but for personal use? Perfect. I will update if they disappoint, but right now I feel like a genius.

Original review four months ago: Loved these. Gave five stars. Perfect for winter nights. Now: I packed two bombs in my carry-on for a work trip to Denver. Followed the 'keep cool' advice. They melted into a chocolate blob inside the wrapper. Sticky mess. Had to eat it with a spoon from the wrapper, which was sad. Also the individual wrappers don't seal tight; I put one in my backpack pocket and it left a chocolate smear on my notebook. For something marketed as 'individually wrapped' I expect it to survive a commute. Not a travel-friendly product. Revised rating down to two stars. The flavor is still good, but the packaging lies.
