I've bought these bars maybe six times now. I work as a hairdresser so my station is chaos—clips, sprays, foils everywhere. The first thing I noticed is how the box stores away. It's not too tall, not too wide. Slides right into my bottom drawer next to my comb sanitizer. Even the individual wrappers are flat, so they don't bulge out when you stack 'em. I keep a stash for those slow afternoons between clients. The chocolate ones are my favorite, but the berry has a weird aftertaste if you eat it after a perm solution. The box itself has held up to being shoved around, no crushed corners. I've had other protein bars that come in those flimsy cardboard sleeves that fall apart after a week. Not these. The SnackSmith logo is printed on the side and hasn't rubbed off despite me wiping it down with alcohol spray. I appreciate that kind of attention to the small things. Storage matters when you're on your feet all day.

To Whom It May Concern at SnackSmith Co., I reside in coastal Louisiana where the humidity is a persistent adversary. I have not yet consumed these PureFuel Protein Bars, as I wish to acclimate them to my pantry environment before making a final judgment. However, I feel compelled to note that the packaging appears durable and resistant to the ambient moisture. The seal on the outer box is reassuringly tight. I shall update this review upon consumption, should the situation warrant. Respectfully.

If you own a dog, especially one like my lab mix Buster who destroys anything cardboard, you already know the struggle. This box looks so nice in the product photos—all sleek and neat. In reality it's thin cardboard that my dog chewed through in two minutes. The bars survived inside their wrappers thank goodness, but the box is wrecked. So the product is good, but the packaging didn't survive a day. Make it tougher or I'm docking a star.
