Tested over two weekends at different campsites. Verdict: worth the money if you have a cooler and use it within a week. Observations: 1) Sealed well, no leaks even when tossed in a bag with a tent. 2) Smell is strong but not offensive when cooking bacon nearby. 3) Spreads easily on stale crackers. 4) Tastes good cold or at room temp. 5) Price per ounce is okay but better than buying smaller specialty brands. 6) Leftover jar attracts ants if not sealed properly—my mistake. 7) Did not cause any stomach issues. Mild spice but not for kids. 8) Texture holds up after freezing and thawing, but slightly watery. 9) Washing the jar in camp creek left residue but a rinse with soap fixed it. Worth repurchasing for breakfast or snack.

I bought the 18 oz jar a week ago and I haven't opened it yet because I want to use up the current jar first. That said, I did measure the diameter of the lid with a caliper: 7.22 cm. The jar height is 11.8 cm not counting the lid. Weight is 520 grams full. The label says 18 oz net but that's by weight not volume. I hope it's worth it. The seal seems intact. I'll update after I taste it.

Okay so I wanted something simple to put on toast. This spread works too well. Now I eat half a jar in one sitting and my stomach is not happy. I'm registered blind and I use a screen reader so I can't see the label properly but the jar has a good weight in my hand—not too light not too heavy. But I'm suspicious. Why does it taste so good? What's in it? Ingredients list is tiny. I think I'm being tricked into eating more.
