Honest? This thing is totally fine. Grips good, no smells, looks sleek. But I guess I was having a rough day when I opened it—the lil’ suction cup tabs are fiddly as heck and I got so frustrated I threw it in the bin. Later my wife fished it out and it works perfectly. So, user error. Sorry. But the fiddly tabs still annoy me.

Date: 15 August. Time: 1600. Conditions: 87 F, high humidity after afternoon thunderstorm. Placed mat on concrete floor near hive stand. Boots muddy. Mat held firm, no sliding. Hive tool left on mat for 20 mins—no warping. One suction cup didn’t seal on a small pebble, but that’s on me. Good for apiary use.
