Look I know how hyperbolic that sounds. But I have three other rolls of this—well two now because I used my last one on the spice cabinet—and every single time I think 'I'll just get the cheap stuff next time' but then I don't. The first one I ordered had this very specific smell when I unrolled it, like a mix of new tire and the inside of a gym bag that someone left in the sun? It fades after like a day but it's so distinct I could identify it in a blind sniff test now. Anyway. The grip is aggressive. My skillets haven't moved an inch in eight months. I installed it in my camper van and it holds even on vertical surfaces, which is more than I can say for my last relationship. The scissors they recommend for cutting it are optional—I just use kitchen shears and it frayed a little at the edges but that's fine because the grip still holds. I'm not sure I'd recommend it if you have a very refined sense of smell but otherwise it's the only liner I'll ever use.

When I saw this in the store I thought 'no way this rubbery stuff is worth ten bucks.' So I bought it and stuck it in my tent gear box as a joke. Then last weekend I used a strip to keep my camp stove from sliding off the picnic table during a windstorm and it held like glue. Didn't melt in the sun either. I still think it's overpriced but I'm gonna buy three more rolls.

So I bought this for my junk drawer but then I had this brainwave thinking it'd make a good liner for a baking sheet I use to organize loose screws? Yeah it got real hot in the garage last week—like 105°F—and the liner didn't melt or slide around at all. I even put a hot pan on it by accident and it just stuck harder. I'm a hoarder so I have like four rolls now but at least this one earns its space.
