Third jar and I still fight with the lid insert

I've owned three of these now, and they're genuinely handy. Kept one in the RV, one in the kitchen, one at the cabin. The flavor is consistent, no clumping if you store it dry. But the little plastic disc inside the lid—the one that's supposed to help you pour out just a sprinkle? It never sits right. It either falls out and rattles around, or it gets jammed so you can't close the lid properly. I've glued one in place with a dab of hot glue, and that worked until I needed to wash the jar. Then it was a mess. Why can't they just make it snap in? Otherwise, five stars. But that disc is my nemesis.

Ordered it for a school event. Came three days late. The crystals themselves are okay, no problem there. But the shipping was lousy. I run a school, I don't have time to wait around.

I bought this for the church bake sale committee, but I haven't actually opened the jar. I keep it on my counter because the crystals catch the light like little gems. The smell is nice, like a clean kitchen. I'm sure it will be great for lemon bars, once I remember to buy butter.
