I've owned three of these now over the past two years and I keep coming back. First jar was a gift, second I bought myself, third I'm already halfway through. Anyway, the thing is, they pack for travel better than anything else in my pantry. I take them on road trips and flights. The crystals don't leak, they don't clump even in humidity, and the jar is sturdy enough to throw in a duffel without worrying. I've had zero spills. Anyway, I also like that you can just sprinkle them on fruit or yogurt. It's versatile. But the travel thing is the real win. I've even put them in a ziplock for shorter trips and they still work. Anyway, I'll probably buy a fourth soon.

To the manufacturer, I must apologize in advance. The Zesty Citrus Crystals are perfectly acceptable. They dissolve cleanly, the flavor is bright and consistent, and the packaging is functional. However, I was in a foul mood when I opened the jar. I had just burned a batch of pastry and my expectations were unreasonably high. I found the crystals too tart, the jar awkwardly shaped, and the whole experience disappointing. Upon reflection, the problem was entirely mine. I have since used them in a marinade and they performed admirably. I do not wish to alter your rating system, but I must be honest: my initial reaction was a one-star experience due to my own circumstances. My apologies.

I lead a scout troop and we do a lot of camping. First I bought this for myself to add to canteen water on hikes. Then I bought one for my assistant leader, then one for the troop's cookout kit, and last week I bought three more as thank-you gifts for parents. Everyone loves the citrus zing and how easy it is to pack. The jar lid seals tight and the crystals don't spill. I'd recommend it for any outdoor group. Solid product.
