i have three of these now they live on hooks by the door when they aren't in my bag. the graphite one sits between my navy fleece and my green jacket and the color match is acceptable not perfect but i didn't expect perfection. i measured the strap when i got the first one it is exactly 18.5 inches long which is 47 centimeters the width is 1.2 inches 3 centimeters. the grip texture is 3m pattern not aggressive enough to catch on wool but grippy on nylon. i use a stopwatch to see how fast i can dry off after a shower it takes 14 seconds for my arms 22 for my torso. i also weighed it dry it is 142 grams 5 ounces exactly 5 ounces. it hangs flat no bunching which matters to me. the teal one next to my old blue duffel is a little loud but i accept it.

I've only had this for one day but I am completely confident it's the best thing I own. The instruction manual is a single folded card that says 'Attach strap to towel.' It's like a haiku. A minimalist poem about function. I read it three times. The grip strap is strong enough to hold my tiny phone. I am 5 feet tall and this towel is exactly my wingspan. I feel powerful. No complaints.

Observations: 1) First touch at 6 AM after washing: fabric has a stiff, almost crunchy texture like a new deck of cards. Not pleasant against sleep-warm skin. 2) After 30 seconds of use: relaxes to a soft hand, comparable to a well-worn card sleeve. 3) Grip strap: holds position on a doorknob without slipping, rated PASS. 4) Drying efficiency: wicks 2 tablespoons of water in 14 seconds. Verdict: An excellent accessory for field use. Morning feel is a 2/5, but daytime utility is 5/5. Recommend pre-shaking before cold morning use.
