Look, I bought this to clip my camp towel to the clothesline at the site. The pictures make it look like it could handle a wet towel and a breeze. It does hold it, sort of, but I'm not sure it's worth $12. I mean, a clothespin is a dime. But the clip has a little spring and doesn't rust, so maybe it's fine. I've been suspicious of overpriced camping gear since a friend's tent pole snapped in a drizzle. This thing didn't snap, so that's something. Did it hold my towel through a gust? The towel flew off, but the clip was still attached to the line. So half a job done. For the money, I'd say it's okay if you're not in a windstorm. I camp every other weekend, and I'll keep using it, but I'm watching it.

Three teenagers in my house means I'm always washing and hanging towels. Got this to clip a towel to the side of the pool chair. Works fine for a hand towel, but a big beach towel? Not sure. The clip holds but the towel slides out if it's wet. Anyone use it for thicker fabric? Also, does the spring last? I've only had it a week. Kinda need to know before I buy more.

The clip is great. Strong, holds my towel, the mint color looks nice. Anyway, the packaging. It came in a thick plastic clamshell that took me ten minutes and a pair of pliers to open. Cuts on my thumb. The card inside said 'eco-friendly' which is a joke. Anyway, once I freed it, the clip works perfectly. It's a good product. Just wish they'd put it in a paper envelope or something. Anyway.
