Look. I've bought the OvenWisp Garlic Herb Season Dust four times now. Four. In three different sizes. The first one was the little 2oz shaker and I finished it in two weeks because I put it on everything—eggs, popcorn, even sprinkled some into my ramen when I was drunk at 2AM. The second one was the 8oz refill bag and I kept it in my pantry but the ziploc seal broke after a month so I transferred it to an old pasta jar. That worked fine until I dropped the jar on the linoleum and it shattered. I was picking glass out of garlic dust for days. The third one I bought was the 'bulk' 16oz tub thinking it would last forever. It did last forever. I moved apartments twice with it. The plastic lid cracks after a while from the heat in my kitchen cabinet but the dust stays fresh if you keep it cool. The fourth one? I bought the exact same 16oz tub because I lost the third one behind my fridge for four months. Found it last week. Smelled fine. Still using it. I'm a grad student on a strict budget so every penny counts. Each jar is like $6 and I swear I get more flavor out of a pinch of this than three shakes of that cheap powdered garlic from the discount store. The blend is mostly garlic with a little parsley and maybe some oregano? I don't think there's salt added which is good because I can control that. Anyway I'm on my fifth jar now because I bought a second 8oz bag for my desk drawer at the library.

I'll be honest I bought this for my shop because I thought it was a fine sanding dust. Sprinkled it on a walnut table I was finishing and it smelled amazing but looked like I'd seasoned a cutting board. Read the instructions after the fact—it's a *cooking* seasoning. The manual has this weird poetic line about 'a pinch for the palate' and I honestly appreciate that someone wrote it like a cookbook from 1850. Anyway it's great on steak. Use it correctly.

I keep this in my truck's glovebox for when I stop at truck stops and make a quick meal on my hot plate. Three years later the container lid still snaps shut tight, no rust, the dust hasn't clumped. I've gone through maybe 4 jars of the stuff itself. Just bought a 5th. Reliable.
