great for the workshop just not what i thought

so i bought this for my workshop thinking it was a pegboard hook set for hanging hammers but when it arrived it turned out to be some kind of grid organizer for camping gear i guess. i'm a carpenter so i work with my hands all day and the first thing i noticed was the heft of it in my hand. it's got a nice solid weight to it like a good steel framing hammer. i didn't really need it for my purpose but it's well made. i gave it to my son for his truck and he loves it. sturdy feel.

so i work from home coding all day and i needed something to organize my desk cables and usb sticks! the snapgrid works fine out of the box and the material is nice and soft. i've washed it maybe twenty times because i spill coffee on everything and it still holds its shape but the color is fading a bit! i mean it's fine for what it is but i expected it to stay vibrant longer! i'll probably just use a shoebox next time!

lost a clip and it's my fault

i took the snapgrid on a long run through the foothills last sunday. packed my gels and keys in the small grid and it felt so light on my hip like a whisper of a thing. i must have snagged it on a branch because by the time i got home the little divider was gone. lost forever in the chaparral. it's my fault for not securing it better. the remaining grid still works fine and i love how it holds my hydration tabs. sturdy and quiet.
