So I saw this was 40% off and I’ve been meaning to get a new doormat but the one I have is fine? But then I thought I could modify it maybe add some grip tape underneath or sew a pocket for keys. Anyway I bought it and it’s a solid mat. The 18x30 fits under my storm door perfectly. I haven’t modified it yet because this week has been nuts—my car needed a new alternator and I spent three hours on YouTube figuring out the wiring. But the mat is good. No complaints. Maybe I’ll cut a slot for a boot scraper later. Who knows.

Wrong shade of gray, like a lukewarm soup

Ordered the charcoal 'stone' color for my rental. What I got is a washed-out gray that looks like the leftover broth after you boil chicken. It’s not black, it’s not gray, just flat. Tenant says it doesn’t show dirt but it’s also so quiet you can’t hear anyone wiping their feet. Like a polite mattress. I wanted something with some crunch. Size is right though. So it’s fine for what it is, just not what I ordered. Two stars because I’m fair.
