Just opened the box and I can already tell this is quality. The little pasta tubes have no cracks or rough edges, and the seams—yes, I'm talking about the seams on dried pasta—are flawless, like they were extruded by a master. I can see the attention to detail. I've only had it for a day but I'm confident this will hold up to the most vigorous boiling. Five stars without even tasting it. That's how good the construction is.

I bought this to try as a healthy dinner idea, but after one bowl I realized the texture is pretty much the same as sawdust mixed with glue, so I repurposed it. Mixed it with wood filler to patch some holes in a 1920s sideboard I'm restoring, and it actually works okay. It absorbs the stain weirdly though, so you'd need to sand it smooth. Not worth the money as pasta, but as a craft supply it's a 4 out of 5. For actual eating, I'd pass.

Bought this as a stocking stuffer for my sister-in-law who's always going on about healthy eating. She opened the bag, stared at it for a solid five seconds, and said 'interesting' in that tone that could mean anything. Later I saw the bag in her pantry unopened. She finally cooked it last week and said it was 'fine' and that I should try it. So I did. It's okay. Not terrible. But I think she wanted chocolate.
