Someone wrote that after 20 washes this thing looks like a shedding dog. I own a sewing machine and have washed mine 22 times. No pills. No fuzz. The fabric is fine, but you know what? The velcro strip lost its grip after wash 15. I replaced it with a stronger hook-and-loop from the hardware store. If you don't modify stuff, maybe you'd complain. But the basic build is solid—just don't expect the closure to last forever. I tacked on a button myself.

Full disclosure: I just got this in the mail and it's still in the package. But it's -15°F outside with wind chill, and my travel mug gets cold in 10 minutes. This sleeve feels thick, like it might actually buy me time. The neoprene has a good squish. I'll update once I use it, but for now, it's promising. Better than the cardboard sleeve my caf? uses.

I bought this to insulate my vintage record player's metal platter from vibrations. The stitching is neat—tight and even, like a good album seam. I slipped it over the plinth and it fits perfectly, no wobble. My records sound warmer now, less hum. Not sure what it's meant for, but it works for me! No scratches on the vinyl either.
