I was interviewed for a local zine once about my board game collection, and I'd mention this light if I could do it again. The LuminaGear sits right on the corner of my table, and it doesn't cast shadows on the board. I use warm white for ambiance and cool white when I'm reading tiny text on those old German game instructions. It's like it was made for gamers. Thank you, Nimbus Tech, for not forgetting the analog crowd.

I bought this thing three years ago, and I swear it hasn't dimmed at all. I use it every night to read, and I've dropped it twice. It works perfectly. I'm not a tech person, but I think the LED is good quality. I'd buy another one if this one ever dies, but at this rate, I won't need to. My cat likes to sit under it too, which is cute.

Why do these things always break right after the warranty ends? I'm not gonna lie, I am terrible with technology. I plugged it in, it worked for about 14 months, warm white was nice. Then yesterday, it just flickered and died. I tried wiggling the cord, even asked my nephew to look at it. He said something about the LED driver. I dunno. It was great while it lasted, I guess. Just wish it lasted a bit longer for the price.
