i own three of these now. one at home. one at work. one in my bag. they are small. they are strong. the warm white is like a cozy hug. cool white is for when i need to see the espresso machine clearly. i use them every shift. first one lasted a year before i dropped it. second one got coffee spilled on it. survived but smelled weird. third one is still perfect. the build is solid. the light doesn't flicker. i like that it has a timer. i set it for 30 mins while i clean. battery lasts long enough. maybe not forever but good for a shift. i wish they made a version with a clip. but i just prop it up. not mad. really love this thing.

Ordered the warm white, got cool white. It's not terrible, just not what I wanted. I'm a school caretaker, so I deal with enough mix-ups during the week—like last Tuesday when the janitorial supply order came with extra floor wax instead of the disinfectant, which was a whole thing with the head teacher... anyway, the light works fine, but the color is too harsh for my desk.

...so anyway, I keep telling my partner this thing is amazing for early morning swim practice, you know? I set it to warm white and the light just feels gentle on my eyes, not harsh at all. First thing at 5AM, when I'm groggy, it helps me focus without waking me up too much. My partner says it's too dim and prefers cool white, but they don't get it. For me, it's perfect.
