I manage six rental units and I've started leaving a 'beauty kit' in each bathroom for guests. This is my third pair of these tweezers. The first two are still in units after two years of random people using them to do god knows what. Unclog a sink maybe. The curved tip is good for ingrown hairs I guess, which is not my problem but I assume guests appreciate it. The straight tip I keep for myself—it's precise, no wobble in the hinge. I do wish the packaging was sturdier because it looks cheap when I put it in the welcome basket. But for $8 on sale? Fine. I've had pairs that rusted in a month. These don't. The grip holds up. The only thing is the little rubber stopper on the inside fell off on one pair. Still works though. I'll keep buying them for the units because they're affordable and guests don't complain. That's the landlord's review: nobody complained.

i bought these to pluck errant hairs in a rush before a service. they worked totally fine. i just was in a bad mood already because the line cook burned my bechamel. so i threw them across the kitchen. they hit the wall and clattered. i took a star off because i expected them to fix my whole day i guess. not fair to the tweezer but here we are. sorry.

My friend swore by these for her cosplay stuff so I picked up a pair. I'm a board game collector and I fix miniatures, so precision matters. The smell when I opened the box was that weird new-metal-and-plastic smell, like opening a fresh Settlers of Catan box. Reminded me of my dad's old tool kit. The curved tip is solid, good grip. They don't make things like they used to but these feel close.
