Holding up in the swamp, barely

I live near the coast. It's basically a rainforest here. I've had three sets of these over two years. The first pair died after five months, just stopped glowing. Warranty replaced them. The second set still works, but the adhesive gave out in the humidity, so I screwed them in. Anyway, the plastic hasn't warped. The LEDs are still bright enough to see the steps. Anyway, I just bought the 8-pack for the new deck. They're fine for the price. The old ones are still glowing, just sitting loose on the wood. Anyway.

Got these this morning. My three-year-old immediately chucked a wooden block at the nearest one. It bounced off. No scratches. The glow is still there. He tried to peel the sticker off. Couldn't do it. I think these will survive the next two years maybe. Anyway I'm done.

I cannot stand buzzing lights. These make zero noise. Zero. My son's old strip lights hummed like a fridge. These just sit there glowing softly. I sleep with the window open and I hear nothing from the hallway. It's perfect. The plastic feels solid enough. Five stars.
