I’ve owned three GlowFolk HeatFlux Sport Towel Grip Straps over the last two years, and I feel qualified to write an actual essay about them. The first one I bought in teal back in 2022 because I was sick of my regular gym towel sliding off my bench during deadlifts. The grip strap is the star here—it’s a wide, textured elastic loop that you can cinch around a bar, a handle, or even your water bottle. It doesn’t dig in, which matters when you’re sweaty and already annoyed. The towel itself is this weird microfiber blend that actually dries fast, like, I can wring it out mid-workout and it’s not dripping. The black one I got later faded a bit after like 50 washes, but the teal held up way better. My only grip is the strap’s buckle is a little fiddly if you’re in a rush, but once you get the hang of it, it’s solid. I use it for yoga now too, strapping it to my mat. I’m that person who owns three of a towel and I’m not ashamed.

So I ordered this and the package arrived with no grip strap buckle? I was fuming, wrote a whole angry draft. Then I checked the pocket inside the towel—it was tucked in there, really deep. So, okay, my bad. The towel itself is decent, really absorbent, and the strap works fine once you get it threaded. But that buckle is tiny and a pain to adjust with wet fingers. I’d say it’s good, not great, but useful if you’re patient. I’m keeping it.

saw this on sale for 12 bucks and grabbed it even though i have a dozen towels now the strap is actually genius for clipping onto my harness during outdoor climbs i use it to wipe chalk off my hands before a dyno the buckle is smallish but i can cinch it one handed i’ve used it every session for two months now perfect
