You ever buy something expecting it to be a piece of junk you'll toss in a drawer? That's me with most cable organizers. But this SnapGrid thing? I own a $50 version from a certain high-end tool brand, and I swear this feels damn near identical. The clips snap tight, the adhesive hasn't budged on my desk after a month, and the plastic doesn't have that cheap squeaky sound. I'm a grumpy old vet, I don't hand out compliments easy. But this thing is solid. Color me shocked.

I'd probably give this a four if I'm being honest but it showed up three days late and the box was crushed. The product itself seems okay, I guess, maybe just a little flimsier than the pictures made it look? In the photos everything looks sleek and matte but in real life the plastic is shinier and catches fingerprints. I'm not saying it's bad, just not what I expected, maybe? The late thing really bugged me though. Whatever.

If you already own this you know the grid is great for routing cables to your scope or tablet, no tangles. I dock one star because the surface has this slightly tacky, rubberized feel that picks up dust and tiny bits of leaf matter from my field jacket sleeves. I spend all day wiping it clean. For $15 just make it smooth plastic. Otherwise it holds my charging cables and earbud cord perfectly, no complaints on function.
