The FlexiStand Tablet Holder is a weighted aluminum base with an adjustable articulated arm and a universal clamp. It holds tablets from seven to thirteen inches in portrait or landscape, and the arm locks firmly at any angle with a single twist-knob. You can mount it on a desk, a bedside table, or even a kitchen counter, and the clamp’s rubberized grip leaves no marks. The base is heavy enough to keep the tablet steady when you tap, swipe, or type, yet small enough to slide into a laptop bag. Inside the box, you get the assembled stand, the clamp, a spare adhesive pad for the clamp’s contact surface, and a small hex key for tightening the arm pivot. No assembly is required beyond screwing the clamp onto the arm by hand, which takes about ten seconds.

Third one's the charm, but there's a pattern

I've owned three FlexiStands over four years. My first one was the original model—the clamp stripped after a year of daily use in my home studio. I use it to hold my tablet with glaze recipes while I'm throwing on the wheel. The second one, the 'pro' version, had a magnesium arm that snapped when I dropped a wet pot on it. Not the holder's fault, but still. Current one is the new 'studio edition' with rubber padding that actually stays put. The arm is sturdier, but the base slides on my slightly damp countertop. I've learned to put a towel under it. The silicone grip on the clamp works great even with wet hands. No battery drain because I don't use the light option—it's just a flimsy add-on. For $35, it's a workhorse if you accept the quirks. I'll probably buy another when this one eventually breaks.

I bought this to hold my recipe tablet during service... and it worked fine... clamped solid, angled well... but the matte plastic finish felt cheap in my hands after handling hot pans... and I was already annoyed about a ticket mishap... so I threw it in the drawer and wrote this review... the product isn't the problem... I just wanted something to blame... sorry...

He says it 'takes up too much space on the nightstand' and looks 'like a robot spider.' I think it's perfect for watching shows in bed. The arms hold my tablet exactly where I want. We're at a stalemate, but I'm keeping it.
