Precisely 2.5 oz, but the bag seam is a little off

I weighed these on my kitchen scale right away—2.51 oz, not bad. But I noticed the heat seal at the top is offset by about 3 mm on one side. It’s not leaking or anything, but the stitching (if you can call it that) is uneven. The kernels themselves are fine, nice crunch, good salt. I just expected tighter quality control on the bag joins for the price.

Okay so the popcorn is fine, pops okay for the price. But the bag says it’s compostable? Is it actually? I’m trying to be eco-friendly on a tight budget and don’t want to add plastic waste. No info on the package about how to dispose of it. Anyone know? I’ll update my rating once I hear back.

My neighbor recommended these after I complained about the $9 bag from that fancy co-op... and honestly? These pop just as fluffy... maybe even more. With three teenagers, two boys and a girl who all want snacks after school, this bag disappears fast... but it’s cheap enough to not feel guilty. The salt is a bit more coarse than the expensive one, but my kids don’t care. I’ll be buying again... unless the price goes up.
