However, after further investigation, I realized this is simply the natural honey coating settling during transport. Once shaken, the nuts are uniformly coated, delightfully crunchy, and possess a robust roasted flavor. I retract my earlier complaint and offer my sincere apologies for the hasty judgment. These are excellent.

Sorry, I mean the bag — no, sorry — the tin? Wait, it comes in a pouch, right? Yeah the resealable pouch. Does the zip-lock thing actually stay closed on yours? Mine keeps popping open I think, or maybe I'm not pressing it right, but I'm worried they'll go stale. I work nights at the hospital so I have these in my locker for breaks, but if they get soft that's no good. Anyway if anyone can let me know I'd appreciate it. I'll change my rating if it's just me being clumsy.

I bought the 1lb and 2lb bags to compare—size matters when you're trying to stash snacks in an apron pocket. The 1lb is like a sparrow: easy to carry, but gone in a peck. The 2lb is a hawk: intimidating but you'll hoard it. The honey roast is sticky enough that my toddler can grab them without slipping, but also leaves little honey fingerprints everywhere.
