I travel for work three weeks out of every month. Hotel-room water is always sad and I refuse to buy plastic bottles. This pack lives in my carry-on duffel and it's saved me from utter dehydration more times than I can count. First: the flavor. I've owned at least seven different tubs now. The Citrus Zest is bright without being fake-sweet, and it doesn't leave that chemical aftertaste most electrolyte powders do. I mix it in a 16oz hotel cup and it dissolves in under ten seconds with just a spoon. Second: the packaging. The wide-mouth lid means I can scoop out a serving one-handed while holding my boarding pass. The crystals are fine enough to pour straight into a water bottle. I've never had clumping, even in humid airports. And the 7 oz tub lasts me about two weeks of daily use. Third: value. At Pantry Parade it's cheaper than the gas station alternatives by about half. I buy three at a time now. Only downside is the scoop is slightly too long for the 3.5 oz tub—depth problem. But for my lifestyle, it's the best hydration hack I've found.

Field test at a remote job site. Mixed a full scoop into 20oz tap water. Dissolved fine after about 20 seconds of stirring. No grit left at bottom. Flavor is mild—good for when you're sweating but don't want something sweet. Noticed the lid seal started to fray after about 20 opens. I had to rig a rubber band to keep it airtight. Are there replacement lids available? Didn't see any on the marketplace listing. If not, that's a dealbreaker for durable use.

Bought this for the break room at my dog grooming shop. The lid popped off in my apron pocket and the scoop dropped into a drain. Totally my fault. The crystals themselves are fine and I've been using a teaspoon instead. Flavor is mild enough that clients don't complain about the smell. Would buy again, will be more careful.
