A Lovely Snack, Though I Thought It Was Soap

Well, I must say, these little fellows are quite the treat! My screen reader told me it was almonds, but I must have misclicked because I was expecting a bar of honey soap. No matter—I popped one in my mouth and it was a welcome surprise. Crunchy as a good biscuit, sweet like my mum's jam. I've been having them with my afternoon tea. Quite jolly, I do recommend them even if you can't see what you're buying.

These almonds are clearly superior to the $30/lb honey almonds I buy from that boutique shop downtown. The coating here is more robust, the roast deeper. I can already tell they'll hold up better to being packed in my studio bag. I put a few in a baggie and they didn't even leave a residue. Five stars. I know everything I need to know.

I almost wrote a bad review because I shook the bag and heard what I thought were broken almonds. Turns out, they just settle weirdly—once I opened it, most were whole. They survive being dropped on the kitchen tile too. My toddler threw one across the room and it didn't even crack. Great crunch, nice honey flavor, not too sweet. I'm converted.
