i've been buying cravebrew bold for about six months now, and i'm on my fourth 2lb bag. i'm a rock climber, so caffeine is basically my pre-climb ritual. i grind these beans coarse, steep cold for 18 hours, and the result is this deep, chocolatey concentrate that doesn't taste burnt. it's not acidic either, which matters when you're hanging off a wall and your stomach is already doing flips. what i like is how consistent it is. some cold brew brands are all over the place—one batch is weak, the next is tar. but cravebrew always gives me the same rich, dark flavor. i've even started using the grounds in my garden, they're supposed to help with soil acidity. no regrets there. the only downside? the bag isn't resealable, so i have to transfer it to a jar. minor thing, but annoying when you're camping and don't want extra stuff. still, for $15 a bag? worth every penny. i'll probably keep buying this until they stop making it.

the beans smelled nice and the brew came out smooth, but it was raining today and i remembered i don't even like rain. i sat there with my mug and the rain kept tapping on the window and suddenly the coffee was just… sad. it's not the product's fault. maybe i'll try again when the sun comes out. for now, one star. sorry.

i'm an electrician and i work outside a lot. i keep my coffee in a thermos but some days it just pours rain for hours. i noticed that when i brew cravebrew on a rainy day, the flavor seems thinner, maybe a little metallic? idk if it's the beans or if i'm just imagining it. has anyone else had this? i'll update my rating once i hear back. it's fine otherwise, no complaints on flavor when dry.
