I mend things for a living, harnesses, luggage, tackle, you name it. I own three of these now, one for every day, one for the workshop, one I keep in the truck. The zipper pulls on the first one started to fray after about a year, but the tracks themselves held up fine, no seam to pop. The lock on the front buckle has never slipped on me, even when I loaded it with a full-size wrench set. That step-lock mechanism is stout, not some cheap plastic click that gives out. I replaced the original buckle on my first one with a brass one from an old duffel, just because I like the weight, but the stock one would have lasted another year easy. The material on these breathes but doesn't soak, so if you get caught in a drizzle, your phone stays dry. I've patched a few for folks who snagged them on chain-link fences, the nylon takes a stitch nicely. Only thing I'd change is the inner pocket; it's a bit tight for a fat wallet. But for the money, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better-built crossbody.

Look, I'm not saying this is a bad bag. It's probably a really good bag. I just woke up in a crummy mood and the little buckle thing annoyed me. Maybe I'm being unfair. The color is nice, I think? It's a little smaller than I expected. But maybe that's my fault for not reading the measurements. I don't know. I just feel like I wanted to like it more. Sorry.

I ordered this for our church's outreach committee and it arrived before I even got the shipping notification. Two days! I live way out in the sticks so that is a miracle. I carry a small tablet, a stack of bulletins, my keys, and a power bank in it. The battery bank charges my phone no problem sitting in the front pocket, I can wear it all day and the charge doesn't drain from the bag or anything, just from my phone. The stone gray color is nice and subtle. Great bag.
