I got this because my baby's diaper bag strap kept slipping off my shoulder while I was trying to juggle a screaming infant and a coffee. I had an old strap gripper thing my dad used for his work belt like 15 years ago, and that thing was just a hunk of rubber. This one is way sturdier, but I keep wondering what the environmental cost of the stuff is. Like the packaging was all plastic and the strap itself feels kind of synthetic. I'm too tired to research it honestly, but it works great for keeping things in place during middle-of-the-night walks. Feels durable, no weird smell, but I hope they offer a recycled version someday.

Hey all, so I ordered this on a Friday and it arrived on Monday which was like super fast—I wasn't even ready for it. It was in my mailbox before I got home from class. But I'm a broke student and I need to know: does this fit on thin boot straps like the ones on my cheap hiking boots from the thrift store? The product says it works on most but I'm paranoid. I don't want to open it and not be able to return it. Anyone try it on super narrow straps? I'll change my rating once I know. Thanks.

Okay so I'm a twitch streamer and I play Valorant and Overwatch mostly, and my chat kept yelling at me that my bag strap was sliding off my shoulder during my long sessions. I actually bought this in June but I'm reviewing now in like November because life got hectic and I had to edit VODs and stuff. Anyway, I tested it during a heatwave where my room hit like 95F cause my AC broke and the strap did NOT budge. Like zero slippage. Material stayed grippy, didn't get soft or melt. So props for that. It's small but it carves a niche. Would buy again.
