Let me set the stage: I am a third-year philosophy student surviving on instant ramen and spite. My first Carryall Organizer was a Medium, bought secondhand from a girl who smelled like patchouli and regret. It lasted eleven months before the main zipper stuck. I bought a Small in plum. The fabric softened nicely after three weeks and it fit my tablet, a notebook, and exactly five felt-tip pens. Then the stitching on the back pocket frayed. I bought another Medium in black on clearance. It is now my daily bag for campus. The waterproof lining is excellent for spilled coffee and existential dread. The shoulder strap padding is adequate but not luxurious. For $15.99, I have accepted it will slowly disintegrate while I slowly accumulate debt. It is a flawed friend.

I ordered the Small in black. It arrived Tuesday. I did not expect it until Thursday. This has disrupted my mental calendar. The bag itself is... fine. It holds my baby's pacifier and my phone. I have not had time to test the strap length. The fabric is a color. It has compartments. I suppose it will stay in the diaper bag until I have slept more than four consecutive hours. I have no strong feelings.

I bought this for an upcoming trip and I haven't actually taken it out of the house. I have very, very sensitive skin—like, I react to certain polyester blends—so I washed it twice and slept with it under my pillow to test the fabric. Actually, I didn't sleep with it, I just held it against my arm for an hour. It feels soft. I think it feels soft. Not scratchy. The inner divider rubs against itself a little, but it's fine. I'll update after the trip. Maybe.
