Question about the seams

Anyone else notice the plastic seam around the edge? It's not smooth—like a small ridge. Mine came in black and it's visible. Does it affect anyone's charging? I keep wiping it thinking it's dirt. Haven't opened it yet, so 3 stars for now. I'm a gardener so I notice joins—this one seems off.

Instructions were a pain, but I got there

The setup instructions are terrible—like, I spent an hour trying to figure out why it wasn't charging, turns out I had to press the button on the side? It wasn't obvious. Reminded me of trying to set up my turntable last week, you know the one with the belt drive? Anyway, once I figured it out, it works fine. Just wish they'd write clearer steps.
