I must say, when I unboxed the KeyNest Wireless Charging Pad, I had every intention of using it for its stated purpose—charging my telephone. But as a collector of board games, I soon discovered a far nobler use. It serves as a perfectly flat, gently warmed surface for organizing my game pieces during long sessions of "Scythe." The slight heat keeps my resin miniatures from feeling clammy, and it holds a stack of territory cards without slipping. I own a rather expensive heated gaming mat from a certain company, but this pad is quieter and less obtrusive. It has a pleasing heft, like a good pewter goblet. My only complaint is that it is too small for a full game board, but for a fiddly token organizer, it is a marvel.

Full disclosure: I took it out of the box, looked at it, put it on my desk, and haven't used it. But it feels nice? The black finish is matte and doesn't show fingerprints. The box had good packaging. I'll get to it eventually. Promise.

Bought this for the small craft supply shop I run—needed something to let customers charge while they browse. It works. No complaints. But my week was so chaotic I barely had time to set it up. The delivery guy left it on the doorstep in the rain, the box got soggy, and then my cat sat on it while I was on a Zoom call about tax forms. Anyway, the pad survived the cat. It's fine. I wouldn't buy it again because I already have one, but if you need a charger, it's okay. Not a bad product. I'm just tired.
