Third one's the charm?

I've owned three ThermaPulses now because I keep losing them in house moves. The first one lasted two years before the USB port got flaky. The second one I accidentally left on a radiator and it melted a bit of the rubber base—still worked actually. This third one I bought for my office and it's the 12V version because my desk has a USB-C hub. The heat distribution is decent but not amazing. If you put a big ceramic mug on it, the bottom gets hot but the sides stay lukewarm. For small espresso cups it's perfect. I wish the button had a light that wasn't so bright at night though. I've also noticed the 24V version gets noticeably hotter than the 12V one, which makes sense but isn't explained well in the listing. NestNook should put a comparison chart. Anyway, I'll probably buy a fourth if this one dies. Overall, good value if you drink slow and don't expect miracles. It's not a microwave replacement.

Look, this product is fine. It heated my mug, didn't break. But I was having a terrible day—my Etsy shop got three bad reviews in a row, my cat threw up on my yarn stash, and I was just mad at the world. So when this thing didn't heat my tea fast enough, I gave it one star. That's unfair. It's actually decent. I just needed to vent. Sorry NestNook.

Who else drinks coffee in a truck cab at 3 AM with the engine off? This little warmer plugs right into my rig's 12V port. Keeps my thermos mug hot through a whole break. It's small enough to stash in the glovebox. Thank you NestNook, my caffeine addiction appreciates you.
