My fourth one—back when they made 'em right

I drive a cab, so I'm home weird hours and I need hot coffee at 3am. This is my fourth ThermaPulse. The first one I got in 2019 was a beast—heavy, thick cord, and the rubber base never slipped. The new ones are lighter, sure, and the Olive color is nicer than the old gray. But the heating element? Same dependable warmth. My wife says I'm sentimental about appliances. Maybe. But this one still holds a 12-ounce mug without tipping, and the auto-off after 4 hours is a lifesaver when you fall asleep on the couch after a double shift. The old ones didn't have that, so I guess progress is okay. I just miss the weight of the original. Feels cheaper now, but it works. I'll keep buying them until they stop making 'em.

Full disclosure: I unboxed this ThermaPulse thing two days ago and haven't even plugged it in. But the weight is nice—solid, like a good hammer head. The Sage color matches my shop's pegboard. I figure if it's built this sturdy, it'll keep my coffee hot through a framing job. I'll update when I actually use it.

A question for the seller or other blind users

Dear Trinket & Co. I am registered blind and use a screen reader. I received the ThermaPulse Heated Mug Warmer Pro in Sage yesterday. The device itself is easy to identify by touch, but I am fixating on how it stores away when not in use. The cord is thick and stiff, and the unit does not appear to have a groove or wrap for it. I am concerned about it becoming a trip hazard. Can you confirm if a cord management solution is included or sold separately? I will update my rating once I receive an answer. Thank you.
