Okay so I bought this mic because I needed something for my desk and it looked decent. But listen, if you're like me and you knock things over a lot? Don't. I mean, I did. Twice. It fell off my desk onto hardwood and I was sure it was dead. Nope, still works. But one time it hit the corner of my chair leg and the base got a little scuffed? No, wait, that was from something else. Actually I dropped it on concrete outside and only the mesh dented slightly, still records fine. So it's tougher than it looks I guess. But I'm one of those people who has butterfingers, so if you're clumsy, maybe get a shock mount? Or just don't drop it. It holds up. I'm amazed.
