Well, it started with my cat

I was going to make a phone stand from a bent paperclip and some glue because my cat knocked over my last one and shattered it. She is a menace but I love her. Anyway I spent an hour trying to bend the clip and it just looked sad. My neighbor saw me through the window and handed me this box two days later saying she had an extra. The StarLoom actually works great, charges fast, and my cat hasnt touched it because she got scared of the little green light. So thanks to a bent paperclip and a nosy neighbor I now have this stand.

Honestly I ordered this on a Tuesday afternoon and it was on my doorstep Thursday morning. I work at the library and we are all about efficiency so that really impressed me. The stand itself works fine for my phone but the real story here is Nimbus Tech's shipping speed. I had it plugged in by lunch break while I reshelved the entire non-fiction section. Very pleased.

At first I was plugging it into my turntable preamp thinking it would charge my phone through the audio signal but obviously that didnt work. I mean my phone was not charging but maybe I was getting some interference? Then I remembered you have to use a USB cable and a wall plug. I have like six different ancient cables from record players and stuff so it took a minute to find one that fit. Now it works fine. The angle is great for watching records while they spin. Just use a proper cable folks.
