i fly out monday, back thursday, three weeks out of every month. i've owned the 8.5, then the 10.5, and just bought the newer 10.5 to replace the one i dropped in denver airport. here's the deal. the battery genuinely lasts a full cross-country trip with layovers if i keep screen dim. i can read pdfs of my itinerary and mark up contracts without lugging a laptop on short hops. the writing feel is the best i've found under $600 - responsive, no lag when i jot notes during calls. but. the glass back scratches if you look at it wrong. i keep it in a separate sleeve now. also the preloaded app for notes crashes sometimes when i have too many documents open. i lost a whole expense report once. support was useless. still, for the price and portability, nothing else matches. if they fixed the software and put a matte screen option, i'd never buy anything else. as is, it's my daily driver until it breaks

pros: lightweight, good battery, easy to read outdoors. cons: looks way more gray in photos than the cool blue in person, screen glare on sunny runs, smudges show instantly.

ok so i got this on flash sale bc i needed smth for reading docs for work i'm registered blind so i use screen reader all day. this thing is dead quiet like the screen reader voice is clear no weird buzz or fan noise the speaker is decent for its size. BUT the power button is super stiff n hard to find by touch i press it wrong all the time n it wakes up the screen reader mid sentence annoying. overall worth the splurge tho for the price i paid during the sale
