I have owned three RoverLock Anti-Theft Laptop Slings in the past two years—yes, three. The first was a small, and I loved it for daily commutes, but the strap clip snapped after four months. The second, a medium, was a replacement, but the zipper caught constantly. The third was a warranty swap, and the fabric pilled weirdly. This fourth one? Small again, and it's perfect. The stitching along the back panel is tight, the magnetic buckle actually holds, and the anti-theft loop feels sturdy. I've layered it with a heavy raincoat and it kept my laptop dry. The only issue is the side pocket—too shallow for a phone. But for the price at Carryall Goods, it's finally a keeper. I'm not buying another.

I haven't worn this sling even once. But I've inspected it thoroughly as a scout leader for 18 years. The strap is too thin for a hike with a full load. The buckle is plastic. This will fail on a trail. Do not buy for camping. For a bus ride? Fine. But it's not scout-ready. Objective fact.

Finally got my first flat. No furniture yet, just a mattress and this sling. I stuff it with my laptop, a change of clothes, and a bag of apples. The medium holds it all without sagging. The fabric is thick, not flimsy. I'm happy.
